Chun-Yu Tsai specializes in the field of intellectual property law and competition law. During the master's studies, she focused on researching competition law and legal issues related to emerging industries. Chun-Yu also served as a research assistant at the Legal Affairs Office of National Taiwan University, assisting with the formulation, revision, and review of university and departments’ regulations and contracts.

After finalizing master's thesis, Chun-Yu joined Oz and Goodwin Global Law Firm as a intern attorney. She has experience handling a wide range of cases, including general civil and criminal litigation, administrative and labor disputes, as well as intellectual property matters such as trademark applications and copyright infringement, but also assisted emerging internet-based industries and general companies with contract reviewing and other non-litigation matters.
